Actor and dancer Kishen Bilagali expresses his deep connection to Lord Krishna, as he shares, "There’s one thing that’s common between Lord Krishna and I, we both love butter and milk products way too much." Kishen, who is in high spirits for Janmashtami, the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth, reflects on how his mother named him Kishen for a reason, but he feels a special closeness to Krishna because of this name. He vividly recalls being captivated by the festive spirit surrounding Krishna during his childhood. Kishen reminisces about growing up listening to Krishna's playful stories and relishing the delicious food associated with the Janmashtami festival, especially his favorite dairy products like butter, ghee, and milk. He particularly enjoys the Dahi Handi tradition during Janmashtami, where the city comes alive with young children dressed as Radha and Krishna. Kishen also makes it a point to visit the Iskcon temple whenever he can.

Although Kishen doesn't consider himself a very spiritual person, he finds resonance in Krishna's message of doing good karma, which he deems as timeless teachings. When asked about his plans for Janmashtami, Kishen humorously mentions that his agenda revolves around work, aligning with Krishna's philosophy of focusing on one's duties without worrying about the outcomes.
